We spent our last day in Cabo at the resort on Tuesday. We lounged around the sky pool on top of the mountain and soaked up the sun all afternoon. Later we had our dinner at the Asian restaurant on the premises. This was a reservations only venue, but still included in our all inclusive plan. This morning we shuttled to the main lobby with our luggage and checked out before going to one last great breakfast at the Bistro.
We caught a transfer to the airport at 9:45 and were on our plane at 12:30 for our flight back to Houston.
We are now checked in to our hotel and settled in for the night. In the morning we will pick up the camper and continue our winter travels.
Cabo is now a memory, but we will never forget the awesome accommodations and great food and hospitality we experienced at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach resort.

Cabo, Sadly Day Six
Our big adventure on Monday was an ATV adventure. We were picked up at the lobby and taken to Cactus Adventures for a two hour ride. We had a guide who led us through the desert and then along the Pacific beach to a park that was nearby to the facility. There we drove for several miles along an old riverbed wash that was all sand. We put quite a few miles on the vehicles over the trails. There were only two other ATV's with us for most of the ride so we were able to do quite a bit of riding without having to worry about slow pokes catching back up to us. We really got our money's worth on the ride.
Afterwards back to the resort for an afternoon snack and then later another great dinner at our favorite buffet.
Before dinner the whales were jumping in front of the resort and we enjoyed a half hour show.
Cactus Tours for our ATV adventure
We rode two atop of this beast.
This place had a huge fleet of machines.
We rode off into the desert, then along the beach and into the park on a dry river bed
Great fun was had by all!

After dinner last night we walked among the vendors here at the resort. One was this fellow who painted with just his finger. His art was incredible!

Cabo Day Five
Another day in paradise. Eighty five today with abundant sunshine!
We had a leisurely brunch this morning at the restaurant near the main pool. Afterward we basked in the sun a that very same pool. What a relaxing way to spend Sunday afternoon. They come around to your lounge chair and take your order for any drinks or snacks you want. I need this at Lake Michigan beach in the summer!
Later we caught a taxi into town and boarded a catamaran for our sunset cruise. The Mexican dinner left a lot to be desired as well as the free Mai Tai's, but the views were awesome.

Lots of pictures were taken on this cruise!
Everything is built on the hillsides here. Some of the houses look like they will topple into the ocean at any time.
Heading back to port.

Cabo Day Four
Another beutiful day with clear skies, mild winds and temps up to eighty. We had our breakfast here at Sunset Beach then arranged for a shuttle to see the golf course. They have a very nice setting just north of the resort with an eighteen hole golf course on the side of the mountain. They holes take you around the mountain for views in every direction and over the ocean. After drinks and a snack there we caught another shuttle to see another sister resort Pueblo Bonito Pacifica just to the east of our place. This was a newer more modern resort and seemed a bit more upscale. Poor us, our all inclusive status didn't apply here and we had to pay for our beer! Lets blow this popstand!!
This is the lobby of our resort. Top Rate!
This is how they move people around our resort. The entire place is built on a hillside
The landscaping at these resorts is impeccable
Arriving at the golf course
The course takes you around the back side of the mountain for spectacular views
The is Pacifica, our sister resort to the north.
Very beautiful, but no children allowed at this one.
More of the fabulous landscaping.
The end of another day, The cruise ship is leaving port. We get to stay a couple more days.

Cabo Day Three
We took a shuttle into town on Friday and visited our sister resort Pueblo Bonito Rose. It sits next door to Pueblo Bonito Blanco and they are both beautiful resorts located just east of the harbor in Cabo. We lounged at their beach which is on the Sea of Cortez and not the Pacific. Swimming was allowed here since the currents are not as strong. \We had lunch and walked the beach into town. Lots of vendors here on the beach relentlessly hawking their wares.
There was a cruise ship in port and the excursions were busy with catamarans and personal watercraft.

Day Two at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort
We explored the grounds yesterday and spent the afternoon at the beach. Everything here is first class and the food is exceptional. Other than the fact that we can't swim in the ocean everything is great. The shore is very steep here and the fact that there is no continental shelf creates a dangerous undertow. People have drowned swimming at these beaches.
Today we are going to venture into town to chech out the harbor and shops..

They have two sections of lounges on the beach where you can rent a small cabana with a mattress for basking in the sun.
I found a mermaid at one end of the beach
we have about a mile of beach in front of the resort. The mountains coming down to the ocean stop you from going further
The grounds here are gorgeous
A beautiful sunset from our balcony
From our vantage point we can watch whales playing in the Pacific as well as schools of small stingrays jumping from the water. We even saw two sea lions yesterday morning.
