We have been at John Pennekamp State Park at Key Largo. A very nice park with a nice campground, two beaches, a lot of kayaking trails and ferry boats to take people out to the coral reef for snorkeling and scuba diving. We are here with our neighbors from Wheeler road, Bill and Cindy and we have been having a good time with them, sharing ng games in the evenings.
Yesterday we took one of the ferrys and snorkeled at the reef for four hours. It was an amazing experience with crystal clear water, lots of coral, and amazing varieties of tropical and salt water fish everywhere. We saw so many beautiful fish of every color and quite a few barracuda and a shark to boot! I would recommend this adventure to anyone.
I didn't have my camera on the boat yesterday but Nancy took some underwater pictures with an underwater camera. Unfortunately it is old fashioned film and we won't know what they look like until we get it developed. Remember those days?
Here are a few pictures form the past week...
