Days are flying by at Oscar Sherer's State Park

We've been spending lots of time at the beautiful beaches at Nokomis Beach at South Casey Key. The water here is crystal clear with sandy beaches and a jetty where a lot of fishing happens. This year the fish don't seem to be too prolific, but we try anyway.
The beach is crushed shells in places and its quite tropical. Several miles of public beaches with facilities and cafes. Very nice.
We went to see brother Bob at Harbor Lakes RV resort on Monday and spent the afternoon around the pool. Haven't seen them in quite a while and it was good to catch up.
We are now waiting to be joined at the state park by Bev and Gary, and on Sunday will be seeing Becky and Dave and the grand kids. They will get to Siesta Key on Saturday evening. Lots of good times coming.
The weather continues to be eighties in the day and low sixties at night. A little rain today, but lots of sunshine in the forecast.

We found an M-22 sticker on the wall at Sloppy Joe's Saloon in Key West!

Small guy or big chair?

A feeding frenzy of sea gulls and pelicans at Nokomis Beach. The dark cloud in the water was a giant swarm of minnows 50 feet wide and 200 feet long!
