Day Three - Texas

Our third day on the road we left Arkansas and entered Texas. We came into Texarkana and drove through Dallas and on through Fort Worth. We are now in a Hampton Inn for the night west of town.
This is a populated area, but even in rush hour today it was nowhere near as bad as Atlanta, Georgia.
We hit Dallas at about four thirty and Fort Worth at five.
We have been driving with sunny skies every day since we left Michigan and today in Dallas it was fifty degrees for a short while. Gas prices have come down and we are now seeing $2.19 per gallon for unleaded. The driving has been fine with dry roads and not too much traffic. The trucks are running as usual, but so far they have all been behaving. I cruise at about 62 to 65 miles per hour and everyone works their way around me. Tomorrow night we plan on doing our first camping. By the time we stop we are hoping for sixty degree temperatures and want to get the camper organized and everything operating properly. We'll have to get those heaters working to get through our first camping night.
