It was a bit strange coming to southern Michigan as it is home yet home no more. We see things we miss and things we are glad we are leaving. Up north the pace is so much slower and relaxed yet we sometimes feel that we bill be far removed from things we are used to here. We are still in a transitional stage and can't wait for the house building to be completed so we can settle in and make Wheeler Road our new home.
Thursday morning we moved the camper from D. H. Day park back to the property and while we were preparing for our trip south the builder started setting up equipment and machinery to begin adding lumber to the basement. We are hoping to see some real progress on the first floor by the time we get back next week.
The masons cleaned up all the leftover block and removed their equipment from the lot to make room for the carpenters to move in. The first floor deck and walls should start going up now.
Tom and Evey from their visit last weekend.
David got into town and had a chance to visit with Grandma and Grandpa.
