We're in the Wild Wild West

Another sunny out west kind of day. We had a beautiful sunrise with the sun glistening on the mountains across from where we are camped. We are in the Florida Mountains and surrounded by them on three sides. To the northwest we can see Deming, New Mexico about fifteen miles away. At night the lights from the city and surrounding development shimmer like stars in the desert. Speaking of stars, the milky way is clearly visible in the clear night sky.
We did a couple of mountain hikes today, and later in the afternoon we went to the St Clair Winery to do some wine tasting. They make a pepper flavored wine here that we had three years ago and I wanted to get some again.
The weather continues to be cool at night, but the days get into the high fifties with clear blue skies.

Here we are at the New Mexico border. I need to catch up on pictures, but will need to wait for a better WiFi signal.
